On June 15, Madison Fine Wine Auction Hong Kong will be selling an exceptional array of wines and spirits estimated to realize HK$20,000,000 – HK$25,000,000.
This auction features rare Scotch (est. HK$296,000 – HK$400,000) and Japanese Whiskies (est. HK$235,000 – HK$337,000), exceptional mature Burgundy offerings including 26 lots from DRC and selections of Henri Jayer and Domaine Leroy. 55 lots of Bordeaux First Growths including 8 large formats, rare offerings from Sine Qua Non including a 100-point bottle of Grenache. The sale also features gems from Champagne, Rhone, Tuscany, and Napa. The sale includes a special Kweichow Moutai session with 63 incredibly rare lots with a total estimate of HK$6,800,000 – HK$9,800,000, with the top lot, a 1970 Moutai The Great Revolution 540ml bottle estimated between HK$380,000 – HK$550,000 and a 4-bottle lot of the first vintage of the Zhenpin (Precious) Series (1986 Zhenpin Series Screw Cap 500ml x 4 – est. HK$140,000 – HK$200,000).
Other highlights of the auction include a 2004 La Tâche Côte de Nuits Grand Cru in Jeroboam (est. HK$89,000 – HK$121,000), a bottle of the 100-point rated 1990 Petrus (est. HK$22,000-HK$30,000) and a bottle of Henri Jayer’s prized 1985 Richebourg (est. HK$130,000 – HK$180,000).
